Terms of Service

By booking a service with MVP Cleaning, you agree to the following:

How We Price

Every quote is based on the estimated man-hours required to complete your service. Pricing tiers are set by square footage, which correlates directly to the total labor time needed.

If a job takes slightly longer than estimated (within the buffer window), you will not be charged more. If we discover the home requires significantly more work than the quoted tier accounts for (heavy soil, hoarding conditions, or scope beyond what was booked), we will contact you before proceeding to adjust the quote.

Direct-to-Employee Surcharge

A $10 direct-to-employee surcharge is automatically added to every booking and goes directly to your assigned cleaner. This ensures our team is compensated fairly on every job.

Payment

Your card is securely stored via Stripe at booking. $0 is charged today. You are charged only after the service is completed.

Condition-Based Pricing

Quotes are based on the information provided at the time of booking. If the property's condition is significantly worse than described (including but not limited to excessive buildup, heavy pet hair, excessive trash, biohazards, smoke residue, or other conditions requiring substantially more labor), MVP Cleaning reserves the right to adjust pricing. Any additional charges will be communicated and approved before work proceeds.

Solicitation

If you solicit or encourage our workers to not go through MVP Cleaning and work directly with you, or if you work directly with our workers in any capacity, you expressly agree that MVP Cleaning will incur irreparable damages as a result, the exact amount of which will be difficult to measure. Therefore, you agree that if you breach this policy, you agree to pay to MVP Cleaning liquidated damages in the amount of one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) per violation.

Walls

None of our cleanings include washing walls. Wall washing can be added at a rate of $60/hr, per cleaner.

Hourly Cleanings

If you selected an hourly service, we will clean as much as possible in the time purchased. We cannot guarantee every task will be completed. Additional time can be added at $60/hour per cleaner if requested before the team leaves.

Unexpected Condition Clause

Our pricing is based on the condition described at booking. If our team arrives and the home requires significantly more time due to undisclosed conditions, we'll notify you right away. This includes major grease buildup on kitchen cabinets and stove-top vent hoods. You can approve additional time at an adjusted rate or have us complete as much as possible within the original scope. The rate per hour is $60 per man-hour.

Damage Claims

We are not liable for any damage prior to service. Any damage caused by our team will be reported and taken care of by our team.

Workers Present

We cannot guarantee the quality of our work if there are additional unaffiliated workers present in the home while we're cleaning. This includes movers, handymen, and any other person performing any type of work on the property.

Valuables

Please put away wallets, jewelry, sensitive documents, and any other valuables to ensure nothing gets misplaced.

Dishwashers

We do not clean the inside of dishwashers. We do clean the exterior.

Undisclosed Pest Infestation Policy

Biohazard Fee: $197 - $397. If a pest or bug infestation (including, but not limited to, bed bugs, roaches, fleas, or termites) is not disclosed prior to our arrival, MVP Cleaning reserves the right to refuse service upon entry, without issuing a refund. Failure to disclose an infestation before your scheduled service will be considered a violation of our policies due to the health, safety, and contamination risks it poses to our staff and other clients.

Tile Grout and Caulking

We do not deep clean tile grout or caulking. A special grout cleaning service is required to properly clean tile grout. Old caulking around tubs, showers, and sinks growing mold needs to be removed and re-caulked. We can try to clean it but we cannot guarantee any results.

Ladders

Our liability insurance prohibits cleaners from performing tasks that require reaching beyond what is accessible from a two-step ladder. We recommend using a professional handyman or window washer.

Exterior

We do not perform any exterior cleaning (windows, hardscape).

Refunds

All sales are final. We do not provide refunds. If you are unsatisfied, you must notify us within 48 hours so we can return to correct the issue.

Cancellations

• If you cancel while we are en route, there is a $100 trip fee; the rest is refunded.
• If you cancel 24 hours beforehand there will be a $50 fee charged; the rest is refunded.
• If you cancel after we arrive, there is no refund.
